"We’ve just returned from a six-night stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Sliema and had an excellent experience. The staff were fantastic — friendly, pleasant and extremely helpful. They were always happy to recommend places to visit and restaurants to try, which really helped us make the most of Malta. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and all the amenities were excellent. Our room was cleaned every day and, although we booked a basic room, it still felt luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable, the blackout curtains were excellent and the room was surprisingly quiet despite the traffic outside. We also had a balcony. A sea view would have been lovely, but we were very happy with the room we booked. The bathroom was impressive, particularly the shower with its two different modes. The room also had an iron and hairdryer. Breakfast was brilliant, with a fantastic choice of sweet and savoury options — basically everything you could want. What really impressed us was how quickly items were replenished when they started to run low, so there was always plenty available. The spa and relaxation areas had a lovely, chilled atmosphere. The only slight negative was that a few other guests didn't always respect the quiet environment, but that's certainly not the hotel's fault. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Excellent staff, cleanliness, facilities, breakfast and comfort. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Sliema."

"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."

"Great location right on the esplanade. Easy to get to the Ferry's and lots of restaurants right at your door step. Clean rooms. The rooftop pool is a great escape from the heat with amazing views, however not that many beds and not enough umbrella's for each row to get some shade from the sun. Ordering food to the rooftop was a little slow. The air conditioning did break during my stay and I had 2 nights without it and I had to move hotels because I was in town for work. But the staff did their best to rectify the situation and were really great when i asked for a refund. Would stay again"

"The Strand experience for the 4 days of our stay was truly amazing right on the harbour front a little 10 minutes by boat to Valletta 3 euros hundreds of restaurants to choose from. Excellent while use them again"

"A very well located hotel in Sliema. We had a sea view balcony room which had a fantastic view of the Marina and Valetta. The room was quite standard furnishing wise - perfectly acceptable and comfortable. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The pool situation would personally put me off staying again. Having to queue to access a pool at 10.00am wasn't great for me - as an early rise, I like to be able to sit by the pool whenever I like. But that's just me! Pool hours were 10.00am to 6.00pm. We did not have breakfast but did enjoy a drink on the rooftop bar (again with great views)."

"Have stayed here previously in apartments in separate building hence why we returned. Would have preferred to be in the other building. Noisy and busy lobby with long waits to speak to staff to check in. Welcome lacked warmth. Otherwise, apartment great and always a good location with great view of marina."
