"Overall this property is excellent. Comfortable bed, a bar, breakfast was above average and within walking distance to reasonable places to eat and an easy drive to refuel and get to the airport. The one surprise was pulling up to a $48 valet charge and they were not very forthcoming about other local parking garages (that were a half block away for $15). "Great hotel for being close to the Phoenix airport. Each to get to, and to leave. Outdoor pool was nice while we were there. Room is spacious. Easy to fit four people plus our luggage. "Walked through the door and felt like we were transported to a very cool 50's Rat Pack hotel. The vibe was luxury and chic. Pleanty of places to see and be seen as well as cozy hideaways. The grounds are exceptional. Flowers and greenery everywhere. Our room was 2 floors with a spectacular kitchen. Comfortable clean and top of the line. We're planning a return just to stay again

"I really wanted to love this stay because the location of the property is fantastic and put us right where we needed to be. However, the logistical and health-standard issues made it impossible to give a higher rating.
The parking was an absolute headache. The layout is cramped and frustrating, which is a stressful way to start and end every day. The main reason for the low rating, however, was the breakfast. I found mold in the breakfast scones, which is completely unacceptable."
