"The food is the highlight. We couldn’t eat at the Michelin rated restaurant but we did eat the signature dishes at the affiliated bistro. OUTSTANDING!! This place is in the middle of no where and felt like Willy wonks land. The hotel is a maze with half floor stairs, passage a far distance to the pools , spa and breakfast. The rugs and interior are red and orange like a psychedelic trip. The electrical outlets are delicate. "

"The Chateau is beautiful in all respects. The Chateau itself is wonderfully preserved, the rooms are spacious with views of the vineyards, the staff is exceptional (we were on the second floor and they helped carry our heavy cases upstairs with a smile!) and the grounds are stunning. The wine tasting is a must do - with an ontological experience before the tastings - and the wines are great. Highly recommend. "

"Lovely staff here, super helpful. However, the general condition of the place left a lot to be desired. The corridor to my room smelled like a dog had left a huge pile of mess and it had been cleaned up hastily and an attempt at covering the smell was really not effective. The room itself could have done with a refurbishment and redecoration. The lighting was dreadful. I would not stay here again, despite the lovely staff, I just didn't sleep well in such surroundings."

"Room and bedding were clean and fresh. Bed and pillows comfortable. Restaurant was clean, staff were very pleasant, food was good. Info on Expedia should be more clear for people arriving on Sunday. Check-in not until 5. I arrived early, not knowing this, but the staff worked very hard to prepare my room early. Thank you. Also, the restaurant is not open on Sunday. Secure storage for my velo."
