"Once the tribulations of accessing the hotel/room were over, I was pleased with the room’s cleanliness. Not having a manned Reception, however, is not value for money, especially if you are a solo traveller who has been driving for several hours. Sadly, too, my first evening was ruined by 2 coachloads of teens who ran noisily along the corridor outside my room, disturbing the peace and quiet. This lasted for a couple of hours, which I find reprehensible. More than likely, these teens paid less for their rooms than I did. Thankfully, they left quietly the next morning, which is a plus. Buying breakfast from a machine isn’t suitable to me - it would have been better to direct customers to the other B and B hotels on the same site. Parking was ideal - having so many police vehicles onsite was excellent, security-wise."

"It's a clean basic hotel with good staff and a brilliant breakfast. Also accepts guests arriving late. Perfect for an overnight place to rest when arriving off Le Shuttle."

"Stayed for one night after travelling on le shuttle and before heading south. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Restaurant was a nice place to sit after the long journey. "

"Fantastic stay here, staff were very helpful and kind. Helene from reception greeted us at 3am due to our transport being delayed but she was so helpful to getting us the right room and giving us all information we needed. Rooms were nice and clean and huge! Would recommend this place. "

"An ideal stopover before or after the Dover ferry, or tunnel. Small but adequate rooms,with a kettle. Easy free parking and a restuarant. There are also a few eating places within a few minutes walk . A little expensive for what it is. But worth it for the location."
