"A stunning building and courtyard with beautiful decor and the most welcoming staff - including Bertie the Labrador who was so well behaved. Breakfast was a delight with healthy options as well a good quality full English choice. Parking is secure to the rear of the building with a charming cut through to the main building. We stayed for two nights and will definitely return. Thank you all for a lovely stay."

"Clean room, lovely place with modernised bathroom. Our room was up a million narrow stairs so would be quite difficult with a large suitcase. Saying that, we managed with two kids and back packs. The foldout couch bed needs to be replaced though, it massively sags at the head (we didn't use it in the end as we got a cot for the 2yo). We were there end Nov, room was warm. Food was great. Cooked breakfast was from a menu, continental was buffet style. We enjoyed our stay, would recommend more than a night to see everything around the town"
