Charleston Falls Preserve

Just past the falls, there is a small crawl-able cave in the limestone cliff side. The cave probably goes 6-8 feet back before taking a left and heading an additional 10-12 feet. Beyond that, it gets a little narrow for my liking.

This state preserve has several miles of great walking trails with this fantastic waterfall tucked away in the center. Dogs should be leashed, especially when it's crowded.
Charleston Falls is marketed as a “Miniature Niagara” because its rock strata is the same as Niagara Falls. Originating from small underground springs several miles to the east, the stream creating the falls plummets 37 feet then continues its meandering journey to the Great Miami River.

The park has about four miles of trails. The falls are very easy to reach from the main parking lot.
