Better than home

Elizabeth and Jay are hands down the best innkeepers I've stayed with. They always know about the latest thing in the community - they really want to make sure you have all the information you want to really enjoy your stay and the local area. They know the best restaurants, have great advice on what to do and can give great directions. The accommodations are beautiful, relaxing, spacious, comfortable... So if you don't want to leave their home, you don't have to. Breakfast is amazing. Eggs Westwood are my favorite breakfast. The fresh eggs and two course meal really put in you in a good place for going wine tasting, hiking, or antique shopping. They make you feel like you are part of their family. Their house and grounds are great, but Elizabeth and Jay are what make they stay better than home.

Yellow in Orange

YELLOW IN ORANGE My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful, magical weekend in the Inn at Westward Farm. Its a lovely, cozy, intimate yellow farmhouse in Orange, Virginia. Our hosts, Elizabeth and Jay, were gracious and accommodating with impeccable hospitality. Our room afforded us spectacular views of the sunrise on the tree tops of the Shenandoah Valley. Breakfast was rich and delicious. We could almost see James Madisons home, Montpelier, from the property. A perfect place to get away.

Owners extremely helpful in organizing activities including tour and restaurant recommendations and reservations. Also made sure all our questions were answered and needs met. Highly recommend this B and B!

Westwood Wonderful!

Our recent stay at the Inn at Westwood Farm was for our 20th wedding anniversary and Elizabeth and Jay made it very special for us. We have been coming to the Inn for many years and it has always been a wonderful experience. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the breakfast each morning is fantastic. I highly recommend it as the best B&B in the Orange, VA area!

First class, top notch accommodations from the physical building to the coasters everything you touch or see is top of the line, all this while remaking a very comfortable and inviting setting. hats off to the Innkeepers!

A Jewel Indeed

What an absolute jewel located literally across the 'field' from the historic site of Montpelier. From the moment you arrive on site, you are welcomed into luxury and attention to detail worth every penny - the owners make you feel at home - this was my first time staying in a B&B and I was truly impressed - this is the standard I will look for in the future! Breakfast was unbelievable. From the details in your room to every corner throughout the historic property (spotless) attention to detail is everywhere! I highly recommend this awesome property and look forward to staying there during my next visit!

Perfect B&B for Vacation or Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Westwood Inn in December 2016 and July 2015. I highly recommend if youre looking for an overnight trip, a vacation, or a quick getaway. Relaxing and peaceful location a short drive from downtown and local attractions. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Jay and Elizabeth are excellent hosts who go over and beyond to provide a one-of-a-kind experience. This is by far one of the best B&Bs. Andres and Patrice

Better than ever!

My wife and I discovered Inn at Westwood 6 years ago on her birthday. We loved the inn and the owners so much, we were married there the following year. We have returned every year since...and the experience gets better each time. From the exquisite quality of the rooms and environs to the 5-star service and breakfast, Jay and Elizabeth have created a country paradise! We look forward to seeing y'all again next year!

My Happy Place

As I told Elizabeth, one of the innkeepers, The Inn at Westwood Farm is one of my happy places. The house is lovely and the attention to detail in decor and service are exquisite. We have been there three times and intend to go back at least once annually, and even more often if we can manage it. The inn is a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Breakfasts are fantastic, with a lot of special touches like farm fresh eggs and garden fresh herbs, not to mention that they are extremely accommodating of dietary restrictions. Conversations with Elizabeth and Jay are enlightening and entertaining. The other guests are always interesting (and we're introverts, so that's saying something!) Everything is just fabulous. I really cannot say enough to recommend The Inn at Westwood Farm to you. When was the last time you were driving away from a B&B and looking at your calendar thinking, When can we come back??! Book it. You will not regret it!!

We will be coming back!

My wife and I got away for a short 2-night getaway at Inn at Westwood. It was fantastic. Elizabeth and Jay are excellent hosts, the room was fantastic, the scenery was gorgeous. We spent Saturday hiking a bit at the recommendation of our hosts and ate lunch at a perfect spot that we would have never found on our own. Breakfast both mornings was delicious. We are already talking about when we can go back for another visit.

Love this place!

What's not to love...from the moment we arrive, we feel so pampered by Elizabeth and Jay. Have stayed at the Inn several times and have felt like old friends since first meeting Elizabeth and Jay. The attention to detail is excellent - warm welcomes, beautiful surroundings, luxurious guest rooms with fresh flowers, fresh coffee outside our door each morning and oh my, what a breakfast! Love this place!

Comfort and warmth

Elizabeth and Jay are terrific innkeepers. They have created a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing environment that quickly melts away tension and stress. The farm house itself is nicely updated with excellent rooms and bath facilities. The countryside is lovely as are the afternoon beverages and snacks. In sum, a great place to stay.

Last Minute Find

When our hotel plans fell through, we needed to scramble to find new lodgings and were lucky enough to find the Inn. The setting is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The home is lovely, large, and solid feeling, with gorgeous interior and exterior spaces. The rooms are so well spaced and private that we thought we were the only guests until breakfast arrived. Speaking of which, the food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. Our temporary innkeepers provided us with friendly and accommodating company. We're looking forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful B&B!! Very comfortable bed, clean room and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was gorgeous with a rainfall shower and marble tub surround. Beautiful property and outdoor area. Separate library with books and games as well as a room with a sofa and tv. The inn keepers were out of town and had friends taking care of it for them and they were fabulous! Would love to stay here again!

Best B&B ever!

Elizabeth and Jay are excellent hosts. The Inn is not only beautiful but also spotless. Fresh cut flowers in every room. Rooms are beautiful and beds are so comfortable. Robes ando slippers are in every room, coffee right outside room waiting for us every morning. We loved having coffee and reading in the sunlit library each morning before we went down for a delicious breakfast. The breakfasts are fabulous from beginning to end. It was my husband's birthday and had asked for a cake on the day we arrived. Jay made the most delicious lemon cheesecake complete with fresh fruit on top and candles. The yards are beautiful and well maintained. We fed the chickens and petted the donkey. One evening we opted to skip dinner and just relax in the back yard in Adirondack s with wine, cheese and fruit. (WHICH we got locally) And watch the sunset . We loved every second and will definitely go back soon. We highly recommend. Jay

Best stay in Orage, VA

My husband and I truly enjoyed our time at the Inn at Westwood Farm. The proprietors were fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable. They have a rooster on property but we barley heard him in the mornings. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. We walked the land, the gardens, and the barn. Orange, VA is beautiful historic country and we visit at least once a year. This was our third stay at a B&B and by far this was the best. We had the pleasure of joining in for the Orange Historical Society's monthly meeting and learned so much about the original owner of the farm house. We also scheduled a wine tour with Central Virginia Wine Tours and had a blast. We will be visiting again. Thank you Elizabeth and Jay...

Best B&B in Orange

The Inn at Westwood Farm is the best B&B in Orange, thanks in large part to its fantastic Innkeepers. This was the third stay for my husband and I; we intend to return regularly. Decor at the Inn is elegant and classy, while remaining supremely comfortable. The rooms are comfortable, and all but one have an en-suite bathroom. In addition to the lovely guest rooms, there are several additional rooms where one can relax. Mornings begin with coffee left on the landing just outside the guest rooms - pure bliss. Breakfasts are phenomenal, made with locally sourced ingredients, and always filling. Truly, there isn't a better experience in Orange.

Wonderful B&B

My mom and I stayed here while exploring Montpelier and Monticello. It was a wonderful experience. Elizabeth and Jay are great hosts and make gourmet breakfast! They're also full of suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area. The rooms are gorgeous and kept very clean. The whole setting is wonderfully relaxing. We loved it!

It's All In The Details

This is a lovely quiet oasis in northern Virginia. The rooms are pristine, the furnishings are high quality, and the house itself is extremely well-maintained. The hosts are friendly and gracious. We really enjoyed our stay and are searching for reasons to come back!
