‘Au clos de Charny’ superb

We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too.

Bof... L'amabilité devait être en option. Nous avons pourtant payé 10€ de plus que le prix mentionné sur hôtels.com. Les rideaux ne sont pas occultants donc le réveil est matinal et la literie du grand lit ne vous incite pas à rester trop longtemps au lit. Le petit déjeuner est pas mal pour des adultes mais pas de chocolat à tartiner, ni de céréales pour les enfants.Dommage

Très bon hotel, adresse à retenir. Nous reviendrons surement. Que dire du restaurant. Menu digne d'un gastronomique, vraiment rien à dire. Ne changer rien! Personnels très sympathiques.

Il s'agissait d'un point d'hébergement pour la nuit uniquement. Cadre agréable, l'hôtel convenable malgré l'accès à la chambre délicat; escalier très très pentu. En revanche la chambre était de bonne facture. Propriétaire toujours au service du client.

Séjour 1 nuit en janvier 2020

Dès l'entrée nous avons été bien accueillis. Nous avions réservé en plus de notre chambre une table pour le dîner. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la salle dont les poutres anciennes venaient d'être sablées. Il s'en dégage une atmosphère chaleureuse renforcée par la présence de la cheminée. Les plats étaient délicieux et bien copieux. Nous avons été bien conseillés pour le choix du vin (côte de beaune). La chambre est bien spacieuse, séparée en deux (un lit double et deux lits simples) et une grande salle de bain. L'endroit est très calme (la chambre est située dans un cour). Le lendemain matin, nous avons profité d'un petit déjeuner bien garni. Nous avons échangé quelques mots avec le sympathique propriétaire des lieux. En résumé, nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous ne pouvons que recommander l'établissement.
