"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. "An elegant property in an off the main track location. Friendly and helpful staff and convenient parking. The room lacked USB ports, and no kettle, but those were the only negatives. Restaurant is old style French. Impeccable service and beautifully cooked and presented food. A lovely stay."
