"I would like to report a very concerning experience during my recent business stay in Quebec City, coming from Ottawa.
The most serious issue involves your parking garage: a sharp metal piece (used to support ventilation ducts), which is nearly invisible when reversing—especially at night—shattered my rear window. There is no marking or protection to make it noticeable. As it is now Saturday, I may have no choice but to drive back to Ottawa with a broken rear window, as repairs are difficult to arrange on short notice.
Additionally, there was a power outage on Friday. The elevators were out of service, preventing me from accessing my room on the 12th floor to retrieve my computer. The backup generator only started working about an hour later, causing me to lose almost an entire afternoon of work.
Finally, major construction around the hotel—never communicated in advance—along with deep potholes at the entrance, made access to the hotel and parking garage difficult and unsafe.
I am sharing this to warn future guests, but more importantly, I urge you to take immediate action to secure these hazardous metal fixtures in the garage. A simple visible protective cover could prevent significant damage and stress for your customers."
