A very nice stay . Comfortable room and a wonderful view. Unfortunately you needed to pay extra for air conditioning and book a different room, which was not indicated at time of booking and as it was 35degrees at the time of our stay this was an issue.
Food in the restaurant was lovely.
Our friends got charged for breakfast even though they did say on checking in that they did not require one. This was rectified after being pointed out by myself.
A lovely cocktail to end the day .

We were met by the lovely Hugo who upgraded us to the very lovely Gîte. We had pre booked dinner as there is nowhere walkable nearby and we wanted a drink or two! Hugo prepared us a super feast and kept us entertained with a music quiz and plenty of wine. Then we went for a swim in their fancy indoor pool. A very memorable night in a charming place. Highly recommended!

Loved this hotel stop over, it was a great location and enjoyed the local area and great hospitality. The hotel was clean, with great staff who were all smiles. We will be back

Was welcomed by the hotel manager. It is very useful that reception is manned until 11p.m. Good choice at the buffet and efficient service. It is always a plus to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

This hotel was a welcome stop en route to the Tunnel and surpassed our expectations. From the receptionist Stephanie (who helped find and telephone a local garage for our friends who had run out of fuel) to the restaurant, everyone had a friendly smile and greeting, to make us feel at home.
We had a very nice room 21, ground floor opening out onto a garden, with 2 loungers and a table outside with fencing to divide us form the adjoining rooms. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, the...

Hotel de la Banniere is like the hotels that you used to stay in with your parents in the 1950's ( with modern facilities and comfortable beds!). Either you like it or you don't. We like it. We met a couple in the EXCELLENT hotel restaurant who have stopped off here each year for 30 years, this is only our 3rd so have a few visits to go. We intend to stop off here every year.
Staff are great, speak English. You can book secure parking. Book the restaurant when you arrive and come down early

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Chavignon, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Chavignon?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Aqua Mundo - Le Lac d'Ailette, or get out into nature at a spot like Lac de l'Ailette. Cathédrale Notre Dame and Château de Coucy are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What are holiday rentals like in Chavignon?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Chavignon. Holiday rentals offer extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll have everything you want. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can provide a sense of safety away from shared hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental a great choice for a family trip or a small group gathering.
