We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey an enjoyable experience. Follow our tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and enjoying Ain Draham before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare pair of socks and something to read. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, any medications and perhaps a blow-up neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have a Swiss Army knife hiding in one of the compartments of your carry-on luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable products, such as fuel and matches, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Opt for shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and remember to take a pullover in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
