If you're not prepared, airports and flying can be testing. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these handy tips for a worry-free start to your holiday in Bà Kèo.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, put in your passport, travel docs, credit cards and medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy novel and a tablet filled with your favourite shows are some terrific options. If you hope to take a short snooze, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, find room for a few toiletry items to ensure you arrive looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have a pocket knife hiding in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of your plane are no fashion runway. Layer yourself up with comfortable clothes and take a cardigan as it can get chilly in the cabin during long-haul flights. Flat, enclosed shoes are always a good idea too.
- Unfortunately, one risk of flying long distances is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity. To avoid this, make the most of every opportunity to stretch your legs and walk around the cabin. Compression tights and socks are also a great idea to help reduce this risk.
