We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our insider tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and enjoying Chiajna in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a cruisy experience if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a fresh change of clothes and a few magazines. Secondly, find a spot in your carry-on bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to take your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have a sharp object hiding in your hand luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable products, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and liquids and gels in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and pick shoes that are flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
