We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and having a blast in Eidfjord in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare set of clothes and a good book. Next, find room in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, your important medications and maybe a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer your clothing and choose shoes that are enclosed, flat and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
