Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Humacao could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some handy tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a pleasure if you pack the right stuff. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, make room in your bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have a sharp object hiding in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable goods, such as bleach and fuel, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and opt for shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
