If you're not prepared, air travel can be tough. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a hassle-free start to your holiday in Ialoveni. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be easy if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, leave space in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any medications and maybe a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to bring your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Choose comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes by dressing in layers, and wear flat, slightly roomy footwear like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
