Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you're well organised. We've made a list of handy tips that will help get your Kielce holiday started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's simple — first, pack in your passport, important documents, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a laptop filled with your favourite movies are some terrific options. If you hope to catch up on some sleep, a quality neck pillow and some noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you arrive looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in one of the zippers of your carry-on luggage. Other prohibited items include flammable or explosive substances, such as fuel and fireworks, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and opt for shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to slip on and off.
- Most travellers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To minimize your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your lower limbs often.
