We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey a stress-free experience. Follow our insider tips and you'll be hightailing it through airport security and enjoying Konavle in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a great experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a good book. Secondly, make room in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, your medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to bring your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Check carefully that you don't have a Swiss Army knife lurking in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive products, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a wise option, as are flat, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
