We've pulled together all the info you need to make your flight as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be speeding through airport security and seeing the best of La-ngu in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a fresh set of clothes and something to read. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fuels, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in temperature by donning layers, and wear flat, enclosed shoes like slip-ons.
- The result of prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression socks to help improve your circulation.
