We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and seeing the best of Lo de Marcos in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a comfortable experience if you pack the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a spare change of clothes and something to read. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any vital medications and maybe a cosy neck pillow as well. Lastly, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and poisons, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and opt for shoes that are flat, roomy and easy to take on and off.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To minimize your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and keep your legs and feet moving.
