Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you prepare well enough. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will get your Los Cajuiles holiday started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, travel documents, wallet and vital medications. Next, you'll need some entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a phone crammed with your favourite shows are some terrific options. If you plan to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and some noise-cancelling headphones will also be useful. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll touchdown feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in the bottom of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to choose comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes by wearing layers, and wear easy-to-remove footwear like slip-ons.
- Caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers on long-haul flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your ankles and legs moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.
