Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Mahia could be completely stress-free or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some tips that will help you start your next great adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a great experience if you carry the right stuff. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare set of clothes and something to read. Secondly, make room in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a smart option, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long-distance flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
