Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Miyazu could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've put together some useful travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a pleasure if you take the right gear. First of all you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean pair of socks and a magazine or two. Next, make room in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, medications and maybe a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of restricted items can differ between air carriers, the general guide to follow is nothing sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes screwdrivers, pocket knives, aerosol cans and bleaching agents. Sporting equipment like ice skates, and items that could injure passengers, such as firearms and ammunition, won't be allowed on board either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose clothing is a smart option, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
