If you're poorly prepared, travelling can be challenging. But there's no need to panic. Follow these useful tips and enjoy a pleasant start to your holiday in Pavel Banya. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, put in your passport, important documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a tablet crammed with your favourite shows are some terrific options. If you plan to take a quick nap, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll step off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to be as comfortable as possible. Go for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to take a sweater in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
