Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Perusic could be simple and straightforward or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some useful tips that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you take the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a few magazines. Next, leave space in your bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, any medications and maybe a quality neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Pick flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and remember to take a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To minimize your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and keep your legs and feet moving.
