Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Sanguem could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some useful travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a pleasure if you bring the right stuff. First things first, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good book. Next, leave space in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and fuels, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to feel as comfortable as possible. Opt for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, breathable clothing and remember to bring a pullover in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- Caused by sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
