If you're not prepared, travelling can be challenging. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a worry-free start to your getaway in Totland Bay.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be easy if you carry the right things. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a magazine or two. Secondly, leave space in your bag for your phone and charger, any vital medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a sharp object hiding in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive products, such as aerosol cans and fuel, and gels and liquids in containers larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The main aim is to feel as comfortable as you can. Layer yourself up in natural fibers and don't forget to pack a cardigan in case it gets cold in the cabin. Pick roomy, flat shoes as your feet may swell during the flight. Leave the high heels and hiking boots in your checked baggage.
- Most of us have heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of inactivity. There's lots you can do to reduce your risk. Wear compression socks, drink plenty of water and remember to keep your legs and feet moving. Do a few laps of the cabin or try out some exercises in your seat.
