Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Valdes could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've put together some handy travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a pleasure if you bring the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a fresh set of clothes and a good read. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no fashion runway. Layer up with comfortable clothing and don't forget to bring a cardigan as it can get chilly inside the cabin during longer flights. Enclosed, flat shoes are also a good choice.
- Most of us have heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. There are plenty of ways to lower your risk. Wear a good-quality pair of compression socks, drink lots of water often and get your legs and feet moving. Do a lap or two of the cabin or try out some simple stretches in your seat.
