Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Wakura Onsen could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've compiled some handy hints that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a stress-free experience if you take the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a few magazines. Next, find room in your carry-on bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, your important medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a Swiss Army knife hiding in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when choosing what to wear on your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible option, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- You've probably heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To minimize your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your lower limbs often.
