Depending on where you’re coming from, your flight to Xiangxi could be as easy as pie or it could drag on forever. We’ve rounded up some useful travel tips that will help you start your unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be easy if you take the right things. First of all you’ll need basic toiletries, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a fresh change of clothes and a magazine or two. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your phone and charger, your medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Lastly, don’t forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won’t be allowed on. Sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your plane are no place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and don’t forget to bring a cardigan as it tends to get cool in the cabin. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are also a wise idea.
- Most of us have heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of inactivity. There’s lots you can do to lessen your risk. Wear compression tights or socks, stay well hydrated and move your legs and feet. Walk around the cabin when possible or perform exercises in your seat.
