Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Yanama could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some tips that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be easy if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a good read. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, remember to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp objects (like a pocket knife) hiding in one of the zippers of your carry-on luggage. Other prohibited items include flammable or explosive products, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of an airplane are not the best place for a fashion parade. Wear comfortable clothes and remember to take a sweater as it can get chilly inside the cabin. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are also a good choice.
- A condition by the name of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Doing leg and foot exercises while seated helps to prevent this from occurring. Wearing a pair of compression socks or tights can also help.
