"Came to check in at 1130pm. Was in a hurry to go meet friends, I paid ahead of time. Walk in but nobody was at the front desk. There was a line of upset guest that couldn't check in. The phone was ringing off the hook but nobody was there to answer. I had to get the Valet involved. We searched the bathrooms and the entire lobby. It's pretty crazy that this place charges $400 a night but they only have 1 valet, and 1 front desk person, and some some cleaning ladies that couldn't help because they don't speak English. We were furious when the guy finally showed up 30 minutes later. Several people that wanted to book went somewhere else in that time.we were very late meeting our friends. When we explained our frustration Christian didn't even apologize. He said he was in the bathroom but not any of them we checked. I said " So you're not even going to apologize or offer to do anything for us when you literally screwed 1 of our 2 nights in town when I just drove six hours racing to get here so we had time to see our friend?" He says you can have some mints, and still didn't apologize. We spoke to a staff member at the pool the next day about it. He said he has heard that happening quite often. On the second day I asked the front desk if it was possible if we could checkout 1 hour later, they said they wouldn't know until checkout but most likely since it was on Sunday. But when I asked they said No! And told me I could pay for 1/2 day. I will never stay at Virgin again in my life"
