"I had to scurry and find a hotel in Seoul. I found Hotel the May and will definitely be back. Property is gorgeous, staff is amicable and helpful and the surrounding area has multiple restaurants. A bit off the beaten track for tourist attractions, but that was what I was looking for. Will definitely be visiting again soon!"

"Great place, quite far from the slopes. There is a shuttle but it was not consistent and there wasn't a schedule available. Also, if your driving it is difficult to find parking near the slopes so go early. "

"The view is fantastic, and the management is very professional and helpful before, during and after your stay. Also, the yard in front is big and has a lot of toys and equipment for kids and family to use. The one thing I would take note of is that you cannot control the room heat on your own, because it is a pension and not a hotel. "Simple but comfortable room overlooking the river close to center of town with free coffee and snacks in the lounge area, but the place does not allow minors and it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room rather than having to go down to the lounge every time you wanted some hot water."

"I appreciated the size of the twin single room as a solo traveller. The area is beautiful and the cafe attached to the hotel was full of freshly baked tasty treats. "

"First, I know minimal korean, and I am a vegetarian who don't eat onion garlic, but dairy products is fine. From Jamsil station Exit 5, walk till you see a signage says 7000 on one side, there will be a queue, and tell the driver you're going to Seorak Bus Terminal(1st Stop!) Try catch it at 1230pm (or even earlier for seats) to catch the shuttle bus(location to wait @ see 1st photo) to the village otherwise cabbing there is approx. 30,000 won. The bus ride approx. 1 hr, and wait for shuttle...
