Portland, Dorset, England UK

Famous for a reason, Chesil Beach is 29km (18 miles) long! A UNESCO World Heritage Site along the fantastic Jurassic Coast. The shingle beach is not easy to walk on but is so impressive. Be sure to drive over to the Isle of Portland to capture the views of the coast in both directions.

It was ok to go to but it's really just a massive expanse of pebbles which make walking quite tiring (like snow or sand). You have to pay to park and the toilets were disgusting - avoid if possible!
