Staff was incredibly rude and passive aggressive for no reason. Pool area was not cleaned garbage and food on the floor. Pool area was cold, their heat doesn't work in the pool area, I was told when booking there's a hot tub when there is no hot tub. On a positive note, Rooms were nice!

Right away as you walk to the door, it was hay bales and pumpkins and fall festival. I walked in through the doors and was surprised by those beautiful lobby. To to my left as I walk through, I noticed the bar which I ended up having three amazing blackberry margaritas on the rocks.😉 I was a bit early, but the front desk was very accommodating and got me into my room. Which was on the first floor just around the corner. The hallways themselves remind me of a vintage hotel, dark wood. But the room itself was light and airy very clean. Although they do not have any charging ports in any of the room, so make sure you bring a USB charger along with the cord. The pool area is amazing and very large. It was indoor plenty of space for the kids with cabanas all around it. I was very surprised.. outside of that is a courtyard with bistro tables that surround a lighted fountain. Remember to look up the disco balls in the trees make it fun. The gym is a really good size with a lot of options to work out. It is located across the street from Gurnee Mills mall. they have atypical breakfast in the morning muffins fruit coffee, that sort of thing. But the big show happens at 9 o’clock with a buffet for $19.95. Delicious. 👍👍 Anyway it was an excellent choice. So book it, you deserve it!

Old and worn down. My room didn’t even have a window to the outside. The window looked into the lobby and was frosted with that ugly laminate paper stuff. Construction noise and a children’s sleepover were disruptive the whole stay. The staff were really friendly and accommodating with early/late check in/out and they were so nice to my little dog. Didn’t try the food or bar, but I’ve heard it’s really good.

the room was very clean, everything worked as planned, but the T.V was very hard to work we had to have maintainance come and show us how to work it. the breakfast bar was lacking all it hard was box cereal and bagles. nothing I could eat. very bad judgement.

I wasn't very impressed by this hotel, and my standards aren't very high to begin with. I just want to be able to relax and feel comfortable in the room that I'm staying in. Shouldn't be too difficult. The bathroom had a used bar of soap in it that had hair on it and that was disgusting. All the finishes in the room were beaten up, like scratched and dented. There was construction going on in the room directly next to us - I have no idea why they would put us in a room where there was construction/pounding going on in the next room over; all I wanted to do was sleep in while I was there and I couldn't. Housekeeping was loud, there was a lot of running up and down the halls, the key to our room worked when it felt like it, so sometimes we would be outside the room for a few minutes just trying to get in. This was for my son's birthday weekend too, so I felt embarrassed as a parent that I chose this place to stay. We didn't even bother checking out the pool because of all of this. Beds & pillows were comfortable, that's about all that was good with this hotel.

The hotel has changed names so the sign no longer says Hotel Gurnee. This made it a bit of guess work to ensure we were at the right hotel. It is now Ten Hotel and Conference Center. This is as of August 2026.

Across the street from amazing restaurants & Gurnee mills. Six flags is also down the road. Breakfast is basic & sometimes not filled at the end of the timeframe. Both days I went close to end & minimal was offered. Stayed her two different times & the name is different on the building & sign. Kind of confusing with hotel & leasing to rent.

The property is currently being updated, but based on the changes I’ve seen every time I’ve visited, I feel like this property will definitely be the best in the area by far. Im excited to see what the finished remodel will look like.

The hotel is not well marked, it was called Ten convention center and hotel. When I asked the front desk clerk if this was the hotel check in, she responded very snipping. Our phone would not work we could only get a busy signal. There were no extra pillows or blankets and the room came with a pull out couch. We were told that breakfast was from 6 to 9, got downstairs at 8:30 and breakfast was already put away. They were renovating at the time but that should not have caused any of the issues we had.
