Quaint hotel with a unique lobby area close to so many good places to eat and shop. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff was super noisy early in the morning and the room felt humid the whole stay.

Taking consideration that this was the cheapest option I could find from around Chicago, I was really surprised of the good ambience and coziness Selina offered. The details and decoration in my room were very nice too

We stayed in a family room, and it was good! 2 bunks and 2 singles. They could have been a bit more comfy as far as the beds go. The hotel was very uniquely styled and we enjoyed that aspect.

Overall rating is deceiving

Dirty, single elevator, closer to a guest house than a hotel. Don't let the high rate fool you into thinking it is a nice hotel.

This is a non-traditional property, it’s a hostile. Don’t go in expecting pristine hotel. Bed was sooo comfy, AC was cold, it was safe and loved the staff and other guests- a chill vibe and I’d stay there again. Building is older and dated, it’s not posh and all things aren’t perfect, but the basics are!

Clean rooms and great staff, but got very hot in the rooms (12 floor) especially when the vinal privacy curtains were fully closed. The fan in the room could be turned on but had no blades probably for safety of the top bunkers so not useful. Also two of the four bunks had personal lights that were broken, reported in about it and by day 7 of my stay never fixed. Was fine as a crash pad after a day on the town but not ideal

Not bad. Could be better.

Not terrible. Eclectic. Easy check in. Wouldn’t stay more than one night. Good central and safe location. Just to sleep…it was fine. No tv or small fridge or dresser in room. Stains on carpet. Plaster peeling. Dusty lights. Toilet running all night. Lights randomly came in during the night. Heard neighbors music through walls. Shared fridge and microwave in building

I had a very bad stay here. I was put into a communal room without being told and then woke up in the morning to my alleged roommate banging on my locked door. On top of that the elevator system is broken and I was put into a room on the eleventh floor so I had to walk up and down eleven flights of stairs. The phone and air conditioner in my room were broken so the only way I was able to contact the front desk was if I walked down eleven flights of stairs. Overall horrible stay, I'll never go back.
