"The manager was lovely and showed us around the room and let us know any key things we needed to know. The room was absolutely lovely, proper cosy country vibes and loved the special touch of a large bottle of sparkling and still water and cookies in our room. Would highly recommend as place to stay! "Staff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning."

"This quaint, Grade 2 Listed building housing the bar and reception desk has excellent, family staff. The guest rooms are modern in design, clean & spacious. My son and I enjoyed looking around the village and ate at one of the various resturaunt's located nearby. Nice and quiet overnight, We left this morning to drop off my son at Gatwick Airport (30 minutes drive) avoiding the risk of him missing his flight. (We would have had to use the M25 if we drove from our home)"
