"Hotel better than expected "

"This is an excellent property in all respects - very well maintained, excellent service, comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, a great breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices. But the one additional thing and strong contribution to my selection was the location, a 15 minute walk from the train station, 5 minutes to the funicular to Citte Alta, 7 minutes to the Donizetti Theatre, and easily accessible to the museums and galleries. Finally, the location is very quiet, away from the tourist crowds and across from a small park. A private hotel parking lot is right across from the entry. A great find!"

"Hotel is in a great location relative to the train station. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was disappointing with the toilet seat broken, faucet handle completely came off and no towels in the room. "

"I had a great stay at NH Bergamo. The hotel is in a very convenient location near Bergamo railway station, making it easy to explore the city and reach Città Alta. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a great variety. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is superb, on the Main Street in the old town but we found it to be the slightly quieter end - which is good! We dined in their Da Mimmo restaurant and it was very good. Bonus is they offer 10% off to their guests at their restaurants and bakery - what a lovely touch. It was busy so I’d book ahead via reception. Location - It is the opposite end to the Citta Alta funicular so if coming from the airport, I would recommend getting the airport bus (No. 1) to the Colle Aperto stop and it’s a quick 4 minute walk from there. We staying in the two bed apartment and it was so spacious. Everything worked and it was extremely clean. There are a lot of stairs to that particular unit so just be mindful if you have mobility issues. All in all, if we were coming back to Bergamo, we’d happily stay here again!"

"Lots of shops and restaurants within 5-10 mins walk, and very close to the train and bus stations. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very clean and well appointed (plenty of hangers and towels)."
