Chimney Bluffs State Park

One of the most unique and fragile landscapes in the Great Lakes region, Chimney Bluffs is a geologic curiosity located about an hour from Rochester, NY. My family and I have enjoyed visits to this place for years, and this visit took place on an uncannily warm April day (82 degrees!!) The stoic shale and mud cliffs rise up above the Lake Ontario shore, making for great hikes and photo opportunities. I recommend a visit as soon as possible, as wind and water erosion of the bluffs is happening at a rapid pace. #SpringFun
