The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the room was spotless and comfortable. The position of the hotel could not be better. I can’t wait to return.

The people on the reception were very friendly and competent. Prices at the bar were totaly ok. Our apartment in the castle was big and comfortable. People are friendly but snobbish. We tried getting some charcuterie from a local butcher & instead got a history lesson. The main land strip is nice but the rest is very dirty with lots of broken & run down properties. Shame tourism isn't supported.
I had a day out to Bologna to see friends. Bit of a trek with 2 trains. Day ticket to Venice by boat/bus/boat is quite an experience and runs all night too
