"There is no doubt this is a lovely hotel but .... if you're using Expedia's website to make your decision, then there are things you need to know. The website suggests parking is available easily either onsite or nearby. This is absolutely not the truth. The hotel has 3 parking places (I was fortunate to get one of them) but if you're driving and arriving late, you'll have no chance and parking is far from easy around the area. The website states there is a sauna, which there is, but only available at additional cost, which the website does not not mention. It's just a shame that the hotel and Expedia feel it's OK for the paying customer to find these things out once they've arrived. BOTH NEED TO DO BETTER!"

"Kristina it was wonderful answered all my questions dinner least she could do to help me out make sure my room was clean every day wonderful wonderful ladies that worked there that far and Nicolina she did a wonderful job on my outer tour trip highly recommend her tours by locals and the rest of it I just walked around town and I loved it people talking to people it was great"

"Stayed in early May 2026, and the main reason for booking this particular hotel was the pool. They have two- one in the grounds and one on the roof- but both were out of action and totally empty- this was never mentioned in the listing or the booking, which was extremely disappointing. We were also made to feel like an inconvenience when approaching the reception at times, despite being polite and respectful at all times- perhaps because we were a group of guys on a stag so- who knows. This hotel has massive potential, but it’s being wasted sadly. The last insult was being charged nearly £7 for a bottle of sparkling water from the mini-bar- no bottled water was supplied or replaced in the rooms, and there was no price list in the rooms either. This same bottle of water was less than 50p in the shops, so to say that was a ridiculous mark-up would be an understatement"
