"The staff are wonderful, attentive, charming and incredibly helpful. The game drive's were fantastic with the guide brilliantly knowledgeable, patient and excellent at finding animals to view - we saw a pride of lions relaxing after a hunt, giraffes, zebu, antelope, hippos, baboons, naughty monkeys and hundreds and hundreds of elephants. The best part of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge apart from the staff is the watering hole. We had breakfast and dinner overlooking the watering hole watching...

"Amazingly helpful staff and great location for Chobe river. Downside is the pool is v small and currently a semi construction site with mud, heavy machinery and vehicles. Good for a brief stopover. "

"A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. My husband managed to lose his phone and the guide was able to track that in the bush as well!!! It was a long day with two drives and we were there for 5 nights which was maybe one too many. "Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

"I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!"

"Excellent lodging for visiting the Kasane area and doing Chobe Park activities. Location is a little outside of the main town area, but right next to a supermarket & Nando's restaurant. Lovely outdoor space with our room, which even had a small kitchen. Good breakfast, which we partook of before our activities. "Stunning setting overlooking the floodplains. This small lodge provides everything you could want from a safari. Certainly worth spending the money, with beautifully appointed rooms fantastic service and great game drives. Sam, our driver was extremely knowledgeable and patient, he even managed to find us a lion and a leopard (with cub) which was the absolute highlight of the trip.Wildlife in general was abundant and they offer a morning, afternoon and night game drive.
