"Great location (if you have a car) A lovely clean room. It was a bonus to have a washing machine and dryer."

"Kitchen poorly resourced. Several teaspoons, one knife, 3 forks, 4 dessert spoons. No dishcloth. Had to request a tea towel. Bathroom ceiling covered in black mould. Walls didn't look as if they'd ever been cleaned. Sliding entrance door wouldn't close. Lock didn't work. Staff ended up shutting up and I had to use the back entrance (fairly rough). No attempt to fix main door and lock even though I had a 3 day stay."

"This was a very convenient stay for Christchurch area. An easy walk into the centre, close to lovely green spaces. I took the bus from the airport and this hotel was close to a bus stop and also to Christchurch Station for the Kiwi Rail and Tranzalpine Railway. Great having a restaurant onsite and the options for room service were varied and reasonably priced. "

"The room was clean and very large with two queen beds and plenty of space for suitcases. There is a shared kitchen in the lodge building that was small but functional We parked our car but noticed every other space was taken. Perhaps there was another area to park that we did not see. "

"Some socks from a previous occupant seen under the bed. Should have been 2 of each cutlery item and dishes etc, only 1 fork and 1 glass. Our unit faced the busy Sherbourne Rd, very busy and noisy. Otherwise, unit was spacious and clean. We especially liked the spacious bathroom."
