Nice room with plenty of parking

Loads of parking. We had a Ground floor room which was very large and quiet. We booked last minute over the August bank holiday so it wasn’t cheap and the pub doesn’t serve breakfast. Manager is really helpful and nice pub. Very near the New Forest for walks. Would only suggest for the price would have expected some additional toiletries

Lovely room

Great little stay. Tasteful bright room with really good amenities. We arrived too late on Sunday night for eating in the pub but had had a great take out from Thai restaurant in nearby Christchurch. Dog enjoyed stay too!

Beautiful room and excellent facilities but what really made our stay was the amazing staff. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble, from helping with taxis to rustling up snacks. Super price too, including a full English breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The Fisherman’s Haunt night away

We stayed at the Fisherman’s Haunt for a night while on a family visit. Check in was easy and staff were welcoming. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant which was decent. Not the largest selection of food however what we did receive was superb and the beer selection does well for a night away. Overall would recommend to anyone in the area

2 night stay for a wedding

The room was specious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size with a good sized shower. There were tea and coffee making facilities. Also bottled water was provided. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

Just fabulous as always.

2 day stay visiting family. As always, fabulous friendly people, great rooms, comfortable and topped off with a very fresh well made breakfast. Lovely spot by the river as well and only 2 miles out of the centre of Christchurch.

Had a lovely stay at the fisherman’s haunt. Marco was very friendly & helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Lovely room, comfy bed (with nice linen!) a decent shower and a super choice for breakfast all together a great stay over thanks!
