"Hotel was in an excellent location at the bottom of La Rambla towards Christopher Columbus monument, there’s a bar/restaurant next door for beer and food, breakfast is served in the hotel, there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although I think you can request not sure if there’s a charge. Hotel clean and quiet and would recommend. However there is a lot of building work going on throughout the length of La Rambla, was not aware of these works and would have been good if the hotel had shared this information. 4 night stay was enjoyable."

"The service, cleanliness, and attitude of the staff were all very good. There was a noise issue in the room whose source we could not identify. I am not sure whether it was coming from the construction site next to the hotel. Our request to change the room we stayed in on the first night due to the noise was immediately accepted. We were very pleased with their understanding and quick response regarding this matter. In terms of location, I believe this hotel was the right choice, as it is within walking distance of many key places."

"Breakfast was great. Room and facilities freshly renovated with old world vibe respected. Excellent location! Hint...if using Black and Yellow taxi...instruct taxi to drop you in front of hotel...not in the square. From the cruise port to Rialto, Gothic Quarter, should be under 30 and dropped at front door. Live and learn! :) They were very fast , no wait, short drive."

"If you are looking for a hotel that is a cookie cutter to the budget hotels you would find in the states this place is not for you. It is quirky in a floors not quite level, key fob is a trailer hitch pull, small rooms but high ceilings kind of way. The plaster walls hide beautiful marble work that is only now being uncovered. The rooms have everything you will need but are basic. But oh the location! Right on La Rumbas the place is within walking distance to so very much. I loved that it was a 5 minute walk with my heavy suitcase to the Aerobus that takes you to the airport for about $8.00 Three blocks in any direction will land you someplace cool."
