"Very warm welcome from helpful and friendly owner who helped us with local advice throughout our stay (including sourcing covid tests for flights). Spacious, clean 2bed, 2 bathroom, plus kitchen apartment perfect for our family of 5 as a base to explore the island. "
"Very nice place to stay in Caltagirone. Few minutes walk to the main streets and all the restaurants. Parking was very easy nearby. The host was very friendly. Room was good sized, only complaint about some ants but nothing too bad. Good value for the price for sure, would recommend!"
"Enjoyable stay in an old grand palazzo. Could do with a bit of work eg clean the fridge and lower the temperature. Basic had some drainage issues. But very central. Helpful host. Recommend."
"Lovely 1 night stay. The perfect location next to the steps. Beautiful terrace with city view and the spaces are renovated beautifully. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Caltagirone."
"L’hôte nous a offert un appartement au lieu d’une chambre sans frais supplémentaire en plus de pouvoir stationner gratuitement dans la cour intérieure. Ce fut très apprécié car il est pratiquement impossible de trouver un stationnement dans ce coin de la ville "
"The perfect place to stay - perfect room, perfect large, hot shower, perfect food, perfect hospitality for a perfect price !!!!! Bellisimo - Bellisimo - Bellisimo !!!!! Sometimes bigger hotel can have kind of cold staff - the folks at Villa San Mauro are like the perfect family - they were awesome !!!!"
"This rental was not as advertised. Old food left in fridge and cabinets. Overwhelming smoke smell in apartment that was supposed to be non smoking. Bed linens were stained. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Dishwasher door missing and inside very dirty. Not worth the money we paid at all. "
"Loradonna is an amazing host, her cooking was amazing, and almost all from the property. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Ci vediamo al prossimo, loradonna! "
"Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Gorgeous pools. Must be great when it’s hot. Liked the jazz music - a good fit. Food was good but a little repetitive. I longed for insalatas but none were ever served. It’s an Agriturismo -
Salades from the garden."
