"We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Brier Island Lodge. The motel room accommodations are showing their age but our room was clean and bed comfy and the view spectacular. What more can you ask? We were impressed with the restaurant most of all--the focus on local food, some from their own garden, the friendliness of wait and front of house staff, the quality of the food offered was also marvelous. We drove the island to see the 3 lighthouses and enjoyed our walk on the bog boardwalk. Brier Island was on our bucket list of travel destinations in Nova Scotia and this trip did not disappoint!"
