"Daughter & I had a two night stay, nothing was too much trouble for Huw & his staff. Fresh milk in the room, great breakfast & very kindly did us a packed lunch. We will be back. Great boot hole for walking the Llyn Penisular costal path. Thanks Jane"

"Wonderful location inside the old medieval wall! Steps from the Carnarvon Castle! Nice bar(s) and seating areas inside and out. On the other hand why would they put a senior on the third floor with no elevator?!! Shower drain was clogged but maintenance did fix that after I brought it to their attention. The biggest issue was the unseasonable heat. No A/C in these old hotels and the top floor was unbearable hot. All I had was a small 10 inch fan which was all but useless. Come on guys! Put some bigger fans on those top floor rooms! I’d stay there again, only on the condition of a ground floor room."

"Buffet breaksfast was available on request on all days of the week for £12. Food was great and room was very spacious and well equipped. There is no air conditioning so the rooms can get hot in summer. The bathroom fan was also very noisy when running. Overall had a great stay"

"Very nice hotel that I will return to on my next visit to Caernarfon. Lots of on site parking, and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I arrived at the same time as a coach party, but the reception staff made sure I didn't have to wait. The room was very clean with lots of space and a good sized clean bathroom. It took a while to work out the light switches to turn on the bathroom light without all the other lights, but not a huge problem. Excellent hotel that I would recommend to friends and family."

Tyr Graig Castle

"The Tyr Castle is a lovely old building with lots of character.Trudy is very welcoming ,and nothing was to much trouble. Food was great , cooked to Order ,piping hot on hot plates. Victor the barman and waiter was efficient and friendly.Views are spectacular , we were lucky to have a small balcony which we could sit out on. Only downside was a very small shower cubicle,but given age of property understandable. Easy parking in front of building. We had a very relaxing weeks holiday ."

"The Fanny Talbot apartment no.3 is an excellent holiday stay. I would thoroughly recommend it. But if I was to be really really critical I would say that a full length mirror would be a added benefit especially for the shorter people and a wall shelf in the bathroom would definitely help. Otherwise this property is fully equipped with everything you could need."
