La Quinta Inn & Suites Summersville / New River National Park
10/10 Excellent
"We stay here on our way to and from Florida every year. And every year the hotel is wonderful. Comfy, clean and the breakfast is great. The woman that takes care of the food and beverage it lovely."
"What a great hostel!! The building is so great with wonderful architectural touches. Grounds are beautiful with picnic tables and a fire pit area. We stayed in the Cloud suite - which was the entire 3rd floor with private bath and kitchenette. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!"
"The overall stay was alright. We rented a 1 bedroom cabin that had 2 AC units. We kept it at 70ish and when the units kicked on, which was literally every 4-5 min, they would make so much noise it was hard to sleep. I actually woke up around 5am and couldn't go back to sleep with the racket. Speaking of noise, a nearby bar was open till way into the night with live music and the noise made it easily all the way into our cabin's bedroom. All in all my biggest takeaway is that it's noisy and if you have trouble sleeping I might look elsewhere."
"The bathrooms are slightly dated with no vent fans and low toilets. The heat/ac system was difficult to regulate and was very noisy. But for the money, I would say it was a fair to good value."
"For the price I paid I would have thought that I would have a newly remodeled room and bathroom or a suite but that was not the case. I was put in a room that had maintenance issues, part of which they took care of at 11:00 pm so kudos for that, however, I should have never been put in that room or moved rooms once it was brought to their attention. Everything was clean but was outdated and I wouldn’t rate anything excellent but good. Definitely wasn’t a great value. The staff was friendly and did permit a late checkout due to the maintenance issues I had. I expected more out of a Hampton Inn and was a bit disappointed."
"Room was clean and had recently been updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great stay and much better than places costing twice as much on our trip."

"La Quinta fully met the expectations of my wife and myself, however, a sign directing a visitor to the inn could have been provided inside the shopping plaza. We became lost."
